"I even put money in the bank account, Don't have to ask no one to help me out, You don't even notice that..."

Look #3 inspired from Beyonce's Why don't you love me music video. Here Liz wears a one piece bathing suit paired with vintage high-waisted Levis. I added a thin leather belt with gold embellishments to emphasize Liz's tiny waist. The sunnies which I call my substitute Alexander Wang's spiced the fit up with attitude. Jaydee decided to switch up her lipstick from barbie pink lips to a fierce red. By just changing her lipstick color it made the look bolder.

"I got beauty, I got class, I got style and I got ass, and you don't even care to care..."

They don't call her Lizzy Homemaker for nothing! This photo shoot is a continuation from the many outfits we channeled for Beyonce's Why don't you love me music video. Here Liz is wearing a form fitting polka dot dress emphasizing a bit of the strong shoulder trend. I accessorized the outfit with piling on pearl necklaces and to complete the look sky high platform pumps were worn.

Why don't you love me

( photo by Wilson King, make-up Jaydee, Styling and hair FBJ)

Introducing Queen E-LIZA-BETH! The next following outfit posts are inspired by Beyonce's music video "Why don't you love me". We decided to channel the curvaceous woman of the 50's! The video was filled with gorgeous 50's inspired fashion! We wanted to portray a woman with sex appeal but someone who still has class. This is a shout out to the ladies who have curves and are afraid to show them. In this post we salute you and your hourglass figure! The idea came from Lil J and I knew exactly who I wanted to get the point across. My gal-pal Queen E who embraces her curves and knows exactly how to channel her inner diva. She has confidence and class, I couldn't be more honored to have her model for me! For this outfit I decided to go with shades of blue and denim. The red hair scarf and red bow wedges was a great way to compliment the blues. For make-up Jaydee did a smokey eye using grays, heavy cat-like eyeliner, and barbie pink lipstick.

In the video Beyonce represents the muliti-tasking woman. One who is a mechanic, a cook, and who can keep the house intact, but at the end of the day it is still not enough to get the attention of her man. All she wants is love and appreciation!

"I give you everything you want, everything you need. Even your friends say I'm a good woman. All I need to know is why..."

To perm or not to perm that is the question

I came across this video from Knight Cat's blog...I am loving the big crimped hair...Big hair is my thang!I've been contemplating if I should get a perm. I've heard negative horror stories so I'm a little bit sketch about actually going through with it. I just think it would be convenient to wake up with curly/body waved hair rather than messing with my straight hair...Curse you straight hair!

this diva couldn't make it but of course she is an important member of the Plastics ;)

After months of anticipation and several assumptions of what could possibly happen to Carrie Bradshaw and the gang, Sex and the City 2 had finally premiered. It put an end to the madness of all our unanswered questions! In honor of SJP, my plastics and I got all dressed up and pranced to the theater in our heels ( no Manolo Blahnik's or Jimmy Choo's for us =( ). The night was filled with one too many margaritas, good company and laughter. The movie exploded with amazing fashion from head to toe. I love how each character is a representation of women with distinct personalities. They are always at different points of their life when it comes to love and relationships but one thing will always remain the same and that is their never-ending friendship(cheesy I know!).
"I got to thinking that I am truly blessed with the greatest of the great gal-pals, who have stuck with me through it all: the good, the mega awesome, the bad, and the extremely ugly! Life has thrown us in many different directions but we continually find our paths back to each other. There is one thing I am most certainly sure of- unlike our faded love for boys, our love for one another, fashion, and shoes will always remain true." -Jo

If this movie was the last of Sex and the City...who will we turn to now for words of wisdom? It's who we have been turning to all along our very own Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda!

my favorite quotes from Sex and the City:

"Later that day I got to thinking about relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous." - Carrie Bradshaw

"Don't laugh at me, but maybe we can be each other's soulmates. And then we could let men just be these great nice guys to have fun with."

The Beatles-the hippy hippy shake

(and I quote) For goodness sake she's got the hippy hippy shake. She can't sit still. She shakes it to left and shakes it to the right! She does the Hippy shake with all her might. This chic is hippy shaking her way to treasure hunt for unique pieces of jewelery. She's the hippie at the flea market bargaining for one of a kind finds! These floral shorts are cotton and are perfect for those hot summer days. Paired with a loose crochet embroidered tank from Max Studio's line, To the Max. Adding color to the outfit with a orange and pink floral scarf by Ralph Lauren.
