I wasn't ready for the photo. I am fully aware that I look like a total dork but I still likey..For some odd reason it reminds me of Terry Richardson's style of photography. That up close and personal vibe.



I am a sucker for high-waisted shorts. I'm pretty sure I own over five pairs of these babies in different washes and fits. This Andy Warhol clutch is my ultimate favorite of all time! It defines me in a clutch, I was known as JoanaBanana since I was a child and everytime I see something with a banana I go "bananas?!!!?".
I took Trixie out for her first Taco Tuesdays as a 21 year old! We both are putting our great minds together and collaborating on projects for the future. It's super awesome to have never-ending conversations with someone who has an overflow of love and appreciation for the same thing.

Jen Kao Spring 2011 RTW

A range of muted colors and a variety of crochet knits to flowy long length skirts. I can not get over those macrame sandals! I love the color palette she used for the collection. I know I am a major fan of prints but it's sort of a breath of fresh air to have these beautiful nude tones that will never be out-dated. I should work in solids more often.

I styled Lil J for her birthday dinner extravaganza. It makes me super happy when she comes prancing in my room asking me to outfit her. I'm glad I could turn a stressful situation such as not knowing what to wear into a fun filled night because she is now confident that she looks good...and SHE DOES "OH HOLLAH!"

Pamela Love is my favorite jewelery designer at the moment. I spend hours drooling over her one of a kind pieces!

Rosalyn Wedge Substitutes

I couldn't help but purchase these bad boys at Forever21. After all it was love at first sight but it took me days to make up my mind (as usual) that by the time I was ready to purchase them online they were all sold out! So you could only imagine how excited I was to see them on display all by their lonesome self! The shoe gods were calling out to me and reallly wanted me to purchase them considering they were the very last ones and in a size 7! I think I got a little carried away and also bought peep toe wedge booties, so much for saving. I gave them the five hours straight to see how comfortable they are to walk around in test, surprisingly comfortable! But who knows I lost all feeling in my toes the past years from wearing five inch heels any chance I get!

My labor day weekend was a blast! My fave local thrift store had a huge sale everything was fidy percent off! I was dodging grandmas left to right for all my goodies! Dirty dogs consisting of sauteed mushroom and onions, swiss cheese, and avocado slices. If this does not sound delish there must be something seriously wrong with you! I ended my night with going to the movie theaters to watch Eat Pray Love kinda made me crave spaghetti and a Brazilian?


I can't help but wonder if the design process was inspired by Vera Wang's Lavender Label the Rosalyn Wedge sandals. They are super similar minus the studs.
