Her cup of tea is reading Catcher in the Rye at the local park under a big shady tree. She is a wallflower who is constantly daydreaming. Her go-to-item is her high-waisted floral denim shorts. When she wears her trusty floral shorts she no longer feels invisible. She is hoping to catch the attention of the cute boy who walks his dog right past her, but with the help of the shorts she is a blossoming flower who can not go unnoticed! I decided to pair the shorts with a light blue tube top leotard. To emphasize the waist a skinny belt was called for. Styling Lil J's hair in a messy bun and pulling it back with a jeweled flower head band. I decided wooden wedges were a more suitable statement than gladiator sandals. This chic may be a wallflower but one who is comfortable in her own skin!
She loves to sway her hips to the sound of her fave tunes. She's the girl rocking out in the wild crowds. She's has her boots on and ready to stomp, push and shove her way to the front! The form fitting floral shorts are complimented by the loose fit black crochet poncho. If this chic were to be stranded in the desert fields the only thing she would desire is a good play list to quench her thirst. She is a lone wolf in need of no pack!

This look is inspired by the girl who is building up her army to go on a wild safari. She is on the hunt for fun and she can't achieve that without looking her best! These floral shorts are light-fitted and resemble the shape of a skirt, but are more suitable for romping around in, leaving you worry-free of the wind getting in the way. The color tones are nude so I paired the outfit up with tribal inspired jewelery, piling on bracelets embellished with stones. To top off the outfit I decided that it would not be complete without a ring(and a massive one of course)! With a ring like that, this chic is fearless and ready to face the wild jungles of summer! Have no fear summer is finally here! I have been anticipating the summer essentials that every girl must have stashed in her wardrobe. The first clothing item that came to mind was floral prints and what better way to display the print than rocking them in shorts! I have displayed various floral patterns ranging from an assortment of colors which express four themes. These eclectic looks and styles can apply not to just one type of girl but many; whether you're a girl who likes to seek adventure, rocking out at your fave concert, reading your favorite novel at the local park, or on the search for unique vintage treasures, your floral shorts are the go-to item for whatever the occasion may be.

There are a million different ways and looks to pull off military inspired pants and trench-jackets;dress it up or dress it down, with solids or with prints! I am definitely on the hunt for some olive green trousers. Give your denim jeans a rest and switch it up. A spring essential to add your wardrobe, which can also transition to those summer days. My search finally ended for a military inspired trench. I scored one on sale at Nordstrom Rack. The trench had my name written all over it even the lining was floral!

The month of April has been a whirl wind of events! A spontaneous Spring Break trip to New York was planned with big sis, Jane. I had the time of my life! The whole vibe of the city was extremely different from California. Everyone walking down the streets seemed to be so expressive when it came to fashion. The people of New York were like models and the street was their runway. I fell in love instantly, with the tall buildings, the cute coffee shops, the cafes, the bookstores, the beyond amazing food, the public transportation, the friendly people with good conversation at the bars, the MoMa, the Met, the overflow of fashion and the list goes on...One of these days I'm leaving California and fleeing to New York! We spent ten fun filled days in Brooklyn with our lovely host, Jade. Here is just a preview of the numerous photos we captured.
